The Kwara State Government recently terminated the consultancy contract with Messr Maximum Concept Nigeria Limited, the company in charge of collection of permit and licensing fees for Outdoor advertising in the State, acting under the authority of Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASSA).
According to a reliable source, Outdoor republic gathered that in a letter signed Director General of the KWASSA, Hammed Olufadi, the letter stated that the consultants and her listed personnel are no longer to collect revenue, which includes permit and licensing fees from Outdoor Advertising practitioners operating in the state with immediate effect.
In addition, practitioners of Outdoor Advertising activities in the state are warned not to further enter into any dealings with the consultants and her agents whose names were also contained in the said letter via email to Outdoor advertising practitioners in the state.
However, as at press time there is yet any statement in respect of a new consultant to take over from the recently sacked company.
